The Teacher Link

The Teacher Link is a skill based, character-focused lesson plan aligned to national and state accountability standards. Each concise lesson is grade level specific, easily integrates into the curriculum and focuses on a different theme to support higher order thinking and positive behavior.

There are five lessons on each Teacher Link Lesson page, designed to take only minutes a day. The teacher delivers the brief lesson and distributes the coresponding Home Link to students at the beginning of the week. Critical issues such as peer pressure, youth violvence, drugs, bulllying, conflict resolution, and good choices are addressed. Lessons engage students through discussion, role-playing, art work, music, and creative writing as they focus on positive character-buildiing qualities that form the foundation of a socially-responsible individual.

The Teacher Link corresponds directly with the Home Link, which provides supporting activities for families.
