Sample Lesson for "Character" from the Character Links Program. This is a Kindergarten level sample lesson as part of the CLS program. Character Links is a standard-based resource that links academic benchmarks to character building to real life.

Lesson Tell the children that they are going to learn about good CHARACTER.
Read: Character is how you act. Talk to students about the way they act. Tell students that a person with good character does good things. Invite 2-3 students to tell about something good they did. (Examples may include: sharing their toys, taking turns, being nice to their baby sister, etc.) After each response, compliment students for showing good character. Tell students to always try to show good character.
School/Home Link Tell students to tell a family member that they will be learning about good character.
