Character Journal
The Character Journal is designed for High School students to develop and strengthen good character through thinking, reflecting and writing about key character qualities. Students are prompted to complete writing exercises in their personal journal. By responding to the questions and writing prompts, students have the opportunity to reflect on important feelings on critical matters such as self-respect, responsibility, and honesty.
Through these journals, students will analyze, evaluate and apply higher order thinking skills while focusing on right choices and social responsibility. This useful supplement addresses situational problem solving, while helping them understand the importance of developing good character.
The Character Journal can be used as directed by the teacher, or as an independent tool to help students develop good writing skills and essential life skills.
